Showing off luxury at every turn, the Conrad Punta de Mita epitomizes a relaxed elegance well-heeled travelers crave amid the Nayarit Peninsula.

Location

Conrad Punta de Mita delivers the same spectacular views as its neighbor, the Four Seasons Punta Mita – touted as one of the best Four Seasons resorts in the world. However, what sets Conrad Punta de Mita apart is once you enter the property, you’re greeted by strikingly lined palm trees, leading you into an expansive view of the Pacific in the distance.

This hideaway is roughly a 35-45 minute drive from Puerto Vallarta’s Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport. You can arrange for roundtrip transport for a fee. They can help make arrangements with a third-party company to pick you up and drop you off. Alternatively, there are also taxi and car rentals at the airport.

Nearby, you get fellow upscale resorts for neighbors. As mentioned, the Four Season Punta Mita is close, along with The St. Regis Punta Mita and W Punta Mita.

Room

The resort vibe is stylish and luxurious so don’t expect Mexican-inspired dwellings. However, the local influence shows up in the small touches of the decor and artwork.

All rooms here are bright and airy with standard rooms offering 705 square feet with a beachfront view. Choose from either a king or queen bed. All beds are covered in elegant white sheets and plump pillows. Refined touches include a rattan headboard with a trendy bedside lamp and wood furniture.

Off the side is a minibar with an electric kettle, a Nespresso machine, a mini fridge, bottled water, coffee, and tea. Beside it is a closet with a safe, two robes, slippers, storage drawers, and a luggage rack. A 55-inch flatscreen TV hangs on the wall. Right below it is a small table and chair for working.

Blackout curtains cover the sliding doors at night but slide them open to reveal a spacious balcony. You’ll find a cushy loveseat with a small coffee table with geometric patterns. Opposite the sofa are another wooden dining table and rattan chairs.

As for the bathroom, it comes with his and hers sink and a large mirror decorated with LED lights. There’s a dedicated shower with a rainfall showerhead and water closet. Toiletries from Mojave Ghost are on the sink as well.

Higher categories rooms like the Suites and Residences provide more extravagant extras like a soaking tub in the bathroom as well as a full kitchen to use.

Amenities

Explore the resort and indulge in the many amenities inside the property. Gym enthusiasts will appreciate the immense gym with its floor-to-ceiling windows and an array of workout equipment. From weights to treadmills, TechnoGym StairMasters, and more.

The Conrad Spa is among the most celebrated in the area for its blend of ancient healing practices from the Huichol people and modern treatments. Inside the spa are multiple treatment areas with dedicated locker rooms, a sauna, a jacuzzi, and shower areas. While worth it, the spa treatment prices don’t come cheap.

For a bit of shopping, there are two boutique shops at the resort. One is where you can buy Conrad-branded items and the other specializes in local Mexican handicrafts.

Like most resorts in Punta Mita, the beach is immaculate. The powdery sand and great waters make it excellent for light water sports or swimming. However, there are no loungers set up in this area so it stays empty.

One busy area of the resort is the swimming pool. Conrad’s swimming pools are divided into two distinct areas, one is for adults only while the other is a designated family pool.

The adult pool is quieter during the daytime but gets lively, especially in the bar area, in the afternoons. At the family pool, kids can be seen going for the water slide and some adults use the pool to swim laps.

Other amenities at the Conrad Punta de Mita include a tennis court, pickleball court, and an indoor game room with a pool and ping pong table, among others.
