The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort offers guests a luxurious and tranquil escape defined by immaculate tropical surroundings, world-class service, and seclusion.

Location

This 17-hectare resort is one of the largest in French Polynesia. It is made up of 3 motu (islets) with nearby landmark Mt. Otemanu less than a 5-minute boat ride from the resort.

The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort can also arrange boat transfers to/from the Bora Bora Domestic Airport (BOB). Accessing the main island (Vaitape) requires a 10-minute boat transfer from the resort. There’s a complimentary daily shuttle service (except Sundays and public holidays). 

Room

The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort was recently refurbished and reopened in July 2020. Aside from refreshing its overwater villas and Iridium Spa, the resort also enhanced its health and safety protocols.

Real estate developer Louis Wane owns St. Regis Bora Bora. He also owns three other hotels: Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa, Sheraton Hotel Tahiti, and Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa.

The nearest airport is Bora Bora Domestic Airport (BOB). To go to the St. Regis Bora Bora, you will need to avail of boat transfers which the resort can help arrange.

American multinational company Marriott International, Inc. owns The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli. In 2016, it was part of a $13.6 billion dollar acquisition of Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

While there’s no hard and fast rule indicated (and not all butlers expect a tip), for luxury properties, it’s ideal to tip your butler at least 5% of the room rate per night if they deliver excellent service. Also, don’t forget to tip your servers when you dine in one of the in-house restaurants.
